how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 52 comments (48 from Metacritic, 4 from TMDB reviews) — 15 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 15 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“I was indulged into the movie from start to finish and I could feel the emotions, from fear, disgust, to anger.”

“A shockingly powerful screed against racism that also manages to be so well performed and directed that it is entertaining as well. [30 October 1998, Friday, p.A]”
Gene Siskel, Chicago Tribune · 100
“Feels as true as a documentary, as painful as a blow to the heart.”
Shawn Levy, Portland Oregonian · 91
“What makes this film so powerful is that its unanswered questions force the audience to examine hate and its consequences making American History X one lesson you can't miss.”
Christopher Brandon, TNT RoughCut · 90
“This is the sort of incendiary role a lot of actors would kill for, yet the shock of Norton's performance isn't its showboat flamboyance. It's that he makes this sadistic junior sociopath rueful and intelligent.”
Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly · 83
“Jolting, superbly acted film.”
Todd McCarthy, Variety · 80

“Despite having a somewhat weak cast, this is an incredibly poignant drama of one man's struggle to live a new life. Probably too violent and close-to-home for some.”

“There's really no point to the movie. Just a lot of violence. That's pretty much it.”

“You could use this as a skinhead recruitment film because it failed so miserably in the message it was trying to push, and it failed miserably because they were too concerned about pushing the message that they forgot how they were framing the film. So a bunch of skinheads win a turf war basketball game, to stop the gang violence around the basketball courts, and then one of the Black people on the losing side tries to steal the car of one of the skinheads. And then the skinhead goes to jail ”
