Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 263 comments (218 from Reddit, 38 from Metacritic, 7 from TMDB reviews) — 57 of them described how it moves.
➖ steady — Holds one level all the way. Warm most of the way through. In the last stretch it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 2 moments that made people jump, 2 that landed as a blow, 2 that gave people chills, 3 that got a real laugh.

“the funniest part was when the audience voiced their collective shock and annoyance at the ‘to be continued’”

“That scene of Miles and Gwen talking upside down while looking out at the city was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on screen.”

“I had no idea it had already been 2 hours.”
Prophet92 · Reddit ↗
“The scene toward the end with Gwen and her dad functioned for me like an emotional resolution within the movie. Had tears in my eyes during that scene.”

“The verbal “Oh shit” I said out loud when The mom said “who’s spider-man ?” As I realized he went to the wrong universe and I missed all the hints before that”

“The set-up for Miles to land in the spider’s universe and not his own was such a slow burn.”

“It is a smart, thrilling piece of work that reminded me of other great part twos like “The Dark Knight” and “The Empire Strikes Back."”

“Across the Spider-Verse isn't just easily one of the best films of 2023 and one of the best animated films in years, it's also in the running for best superhero film ever, and arguably cements Miles Morales as the best Spider-Man we've seen on the screen so far.”
Ross Bonaime, Collider · 100
“Visually astonishing, emotionally daring, this spectacular sequel has enough wit, imagination and thrills to fill several worlds. But prepare to be left hanging till the sequel hits screens.”
Jordan Farley, Total Film · 100
“They’ve done it. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse doesn’t just extend the tale of Miles Morales. The film advances that story into newly jacked-up realms of wow-ness that make it a genuine spiritual companion piece to the first film. That one spun our heads and then some; this one spins our heads even more (and would fans, including me, have it any other way?).”
Owen Gleiberman, Variety · 100
“The sequel has everything that made the first film so special, but most thrillingly, it puts away childish things. There’s moral ambiguity, meaningful stakes and commentary on race, capitalism and the state of cinema that have matured alongside its protagonist.”
Leila Latif, Little White Lies · 100

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
