Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 274 comments (223 from Reddit, 45 from Metacritic, 6 from TMDB reviews) — 49 of them described how it moves.
➖ steady — Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout — never simply one thing. Around the middle it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow, 2 that gave people chills, 4 that got a real laugh.

“I really loved the scene where Eric is pointing out the star constellations to Ariel, which as a sailor he knows well. It sets the stage for the iconic moment where he tries to guess her name. What I found so touching was how Ariel, even though she couldn't speak, physically gestured towards Eric's lips and cleverly used the Aries constellation to help him say her name. It was such a beautiful improvement from the original version where Sebastian just whispered her name to Eric. The writer behind this change definitely deserves a raise. It added so much depth and charm to the scene.”

“I laughed SO HARD when they showed Javier Bardem at the end, and he was already out of the water just staring at the two leads LOL”

“Under the Sea was so mid and felt weirdly small basically just being Sebastian and Ariel.”

“His song (and all the new music) was underwhelming and I found it really weird that it starts small and then tried to go really fucking hard right away for the rest of the song.”

It reviews better than it plays — admired more than it is enjoyed.
“Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid is a jolly and inventive animated fantasy - a movie that's so creative and so much fun it deserves comparison with the best Disney work of the past.”

“A marvel of skillful animation, witty songwriting and smart planning. It is designed to delight filmgoers of every conceivable stripe.”
Janet Maslin, The New York Times · 100
“For 82 minutes, The Little Mermaid reclaims the movie house as a dream palace and the big screen as a window into enchantment. Live-action filmmakers, see this and try to top it. Go on and try.”
Richard Corliss, Time · 100
“The animation is dazzling (two-thirds of the movie is set underwater). The love story between mermaid Ariel (the sweet voice of Jodi Benson) and mortal Prince Eric (Christopher Daniel Barnes) is fairy-tale wonderful. And there is a slew of terrific side characters that make the movie as entertaining for adults as it is for children.”
Barbara Shulgasser, San Francisco Examiner · 100

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
