how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 102 comments (73 from Reddit, 27 from Metacritic, 2 from TMDB reviews) β 43 of them described how it moves.
γ°οΈ uneven β Peaks and dips, no clear shape. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow.

βThough I wasn't a fan of the beginning sequence. The whole railway plan relied on too many factors going exactly as planned for my taste.β

βI was very sad to see the only remaining city to get destroyed. It was hard to deal with casualties, especially Teresa's deathβ

βTeresa's death sucked in the book but was worse in the film. She stood there for like 10 seconds. People in my cinema laughed when she died because it was so stupid.β
βFrom Newts death to the end it was garbage.β

Published reviews, not felt experience β a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
βThe Death Cure doesnβt work on every level. The movie has, for the most part, jettisoned many of the storyβs previous science fiction elements to focus more on action. In so doing, it relies on a lot of repeat devices to earn its thrills β namely perfectly-timed, life-saving rescues, often from the sky. Sometimes, you just want to hear some scientists talk shop for a minute.β

βThereβs a pleasing sort of B-movie-on-an-A+-budget simplicity to Death Cure.β
Leah Greenblatt, Entertainment Weekly Β· 75
βDownplaying some of the propertyβs sillier elements when not jettisoning them entirely, and streamlining the narrative into a rousing and at times even emotional action film, βDeath Cureβ is the most successful entry in the franchise by far.β
Andrew Barker, Variety Β· 70
βThis is the sort of action film where the bad guys often hold their fire for no discernible reason, and are terrible at dodging things, but if one suspends oneβs disbelief long enough, theyβre rewarded with a rollicking, highly competent popcorn movie.β
Emily Yoshida, New York Magazine (Vulture) Β· 70
βItβs a shame that The Maze Runner movies are going out on their flattest note, but The Death Cure isn't completely off-key. Wes Ball has directed every entry in the franchise and heβs evolved into a very skilled action filmmaker. Complex set-pieces with an incredible number of moving parts are depicted clearly, excitingly, and with visual panache.β

βIf you want to end a series, this is the end for it. You have people die, buildings destroyed, folks infected, mazes to run, Jesus Christ references, and final no-cliffhanger finish.β

βIt starts out with a fantastic train heist sequence that pulls you into the movie and it keeps chugging along (pun intended) for awhile.β

βdives straight into the action from the very first scene. While this fast-paced start keeps the energy high, it feels like a missed opportunity for the director to focus more on story growth and deepening character attachments in the opening act.β
