how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 52 comments (47 from Metacritic, 5 from TMDB reviews) β 13 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence β the shape below rests on 13 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

βThe first twenty minutes or so of this is presented as if it were a documentary and with information whizzing about all over the place and tiny onscreen graphics attempting to set the scene, I found it really quite annoying. I was tempted to just give upβ

βThe story is fascinating throughout. It is a personal story and an emotional one. The aliens look cool and are so believable as they are given an identity within society. You really feel for them and pity them. This is very clever storytelling. Itβs a really strong story and an emotional one.β

βonce it gets going, it becomes something much heavier and more uncomfortable β in a good way. I went in expecting chaos and explosions, and while it delivers that, what really stuck with me was how human (and cruel) everything felt.β

βIt was a staggering experience to find myself feeling profound empathy and compassion for such a grotesque creature. The way it forced me to connect with something so "alien" left me reeling for a long time. A solid 4.0 for a film that challenged my emotions and lingered in my mind long after the credits rolled.β

βNo true fan of science fiction -- or, for that matter, cinema -- can help but thrill to the action, high stakes and suspense built around a very original chase movie.β

βThe humanity of District 9 adds another dimension to this multilayered, rewarding work -- one of the best of the summer, and undoubtedly the most inventive from the multiplex this year.β
Matthew Sorrento, Film Threat Β· 100
βMadly original, cheekily political, altogether exciting District 9.β
Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly Β· 100
βDistrict 9 is very smart sci-fi, but that's just the beginning; it's also a scathing social satire hidden inside a terrific action thriller teeming with gross aliens and regrettable inter-species conflict. And it's a blast. . . .β

βDistrict 9 proves that genre films, besides being a hell of a lot of fun, can say things you hadn't considered and show stuff you haven't seen.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

βThis was an outstanding debut by the New Zealander Blomkamp. Consistently enthralling and keeping one at the edge of his seat. THIS is a recent film, like 'Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World', that should have spawned sequels. Much better than his follow-up, 'Elysium' (I haven't watched any others he's made since; hope he doesn't end up a cinematic one-trick pony like M. Night Shyamalan...).β

βGreat watch, will watch again, and highly recommended. This has a wonderfully exciting premise: alien refugees on Terra, how Terrans react and how the aliens react. The premise, as delivered, has some odd holes in though: it's specified that all of the crew have died, mysteriously, and no one knows how to operate the ship, but it's been in the air for some time. The idea of gravity alone should have motivated Johannesburg to evacuate, but their government interaction seems decidedly weak. β
