how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 281 comments (223 from Reddit, 42 from Metacritic, 16 from TMDB reviews) — 41 of them described how it moves.
➖ steady — Holds one level all the way. Hard going most of the way through. In the first half it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 3 that gave people chills.

“But it was sooooooo safe. It felt like they were going through a checklist of Alien movie "Do's"”

“The spine bursting scene was sickeningly good.”

“How freaky was Walter's face when David stabbed and disabled him?”

“The creepiest part of the movies for me was not the creatures, but David and the way [he talked about Elizabeth. It was like he was mourning a spouse more than a test subject. Shaw couldn't have children, but in a way the xenos he created were her children- and his.He actually cried when the captain shot the flesh colored one. And when Daniels asked him what he did to Shaw- "What I'm going to do to you." Cue him throwing her on a table, climbing on top of her, kissing her and saying "Is that how it's done?". Which all but confirms he views himself as a father and Shaw the mother of the aliens. ](#spoiler)”

“It would have been a perfect end to the movie. Even someone as logical as Walter would have realized how imperfect his own creators are, and he realizes David's motives were truly logical... to recreate his own creators into a perfect race.”

“That whole sequence from the 2 guys getting infected to the tall grass was by far the best part of the movie”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
“Scott’s Alien: Covenant is a mad scientist film – arguably, one of the maddest. It’s grandiose, exhilarating, vertiginously cynical and symphonically perverse.”
Robbie Collin, The Telegraph · 100
“This is one of Scott’s best-directed movies and one of his most entertaining overall, partly because he’s working in a genre, the science fiction spectacle, that he does better than anyone since Stanley Kubrick, but also because he seems to be approaching it almost entirely in terms of visceral impact and emotion—as symphony of fire and blood, poetry and schlock.”
Matt Zoller Seitz, RogerEbert.com · 100
“The drama flows gorgeously and, unlike in many other franchises in which entries keep getting longer every time out, this one is served up without an ounce of fat. It provides all the tension and action the mainstream audience could want, along with a good deal more.”
Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter · 90
“Reportedly, at least two more “Alien” prequels are planned. If they’re half as good as this one, prepare to tremble.”
Calvin Wilson, St. Louis Post-Dispatch · 88
“Gross-outs and gotchas are fun, but they wouldn’t amount to much if Covenant wasn’t so thoroughly well-crafted.”
Kevin P. Sullivan, Entertainment Weekly · 83
