what happens
You’re invited to the 70th Annual Herogasm! You must present this invitation in order to be admitted! Same rules as always: no cameras, no non-Supe guests unless they sign an NDA and they’re DTF, and no telling any news media! It’s BYOD, but food, alcohol and lube will be provided! And please remember to RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount for the caterer!
how it went
Left to right is this episode — its opening to its closing minutes. This is the one span the comments were always describing.

➖ steady — Holds one level all the way. Warm most of the way through. Very little of it ever resolves.

what people actually wrote
Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
“right at the very end he realised how big of a piece of shit he was. His sincere apology to Hughie was the icing on the cake.”
