what happens
Impatient with Geralt's methods, Ciri braves major obstacles to prove her mettle. Scheming and suspicion amongst the Brotherhood make Yennefer a target.
how it went
Left to right is this episode — its opening to its closing minutes. This is the one span the comments were always describing.

Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.

Not enough to put a number on. The shape below is drawn from what there is, with the widest uncertainty band we use — it is the start of an answer, not one.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

what people actually wrote
Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
“The whole Yennefer and Cahir escape looked very lame to me, like a scene from a B-movie.”

“Episode 1, when the show was the most faithful to the books and the episode that was the least ambitious.. that was easily the best episode so far.”
