General and I season 1

what happens

Bai Ping Ting has lived in a man’s world. A maid for the Marquess of Jing An, she’s told that a woman’s virtue is ignorance, but with wisdom that surpasses most men, she never believed it. Her brilliance earns her the nickname “female Zhu Ge,” after the famed strategist. Both beautiful and intelligent, she captures the heart of undefeated warrior Chu Bei Jie, who falls for her at first sight. But in an era of war between Jin, Yan, Liang, and Qin, their love is more than forbidden—it’s dangerous. Unknown to Chu Bei Jie, Bai once served He Xia, his sworn enemy. As secrets, deception, and conspiracies threaten to pull them apart, the lovers must decide whether their bond can withstand the chaos of war, or if the weight of their pasts and loyalties will ultimately destroy them.
