The investigation zeroes in on a prime suspect who proves surprisingly adept at manipulating a volatile situation to his advantage.

Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.

Not enough to put a number on. The shape below is drawn from what there is, with the widest uncertainty band we use — it is the start of an answer, not one.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

- how intense it got, 0–100
- gold above
- how tender it felt. violet below — what it cost. Thick on both at once means it was doing both.
- tension rail
- how much was still unresolved
- grey haze
- how sure we are — wider means fewer people described it
what people actually wrote
Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
“fuck this last episode really hit me. the mothers will never know if wayne truly killed their kids, they will just see this as the fbi pinning this onto a black man the way bill comes home after telling holden to take a victory lap, only to find nancy and all of his stuff gone really broke my heart watching the ending scene with BTK creeped the shit out of me with that fucking mask”
