what happens
A plane brings Mike to California — and a dead body brings Hawkins to a halt. Nancy goes looking for leads. A shaken Eddie tells the gang what he saw.
how it went
Left to right is this episode — its opening to its closing minutes. This is the one span the comments were always describing.

Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.

Not enough to put a number on. The shape below is drawn from what there is, with the widest uncertainty band we use — it is the start of an answer, not one.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

what people actually wrote
Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
“literally within the first 5 minutes of the episode we got that and it was absolutely everything I wanted.”

“The horror and CGI this season has been fuckin’ amazing, this is the creepiest season yet, I feel. The stakes seem much higher, Vecna is absolutely terrifying and mysterious, kids are being killed left and right, etc.”
