βI remember LOVING this episode when it first came out. I loved the symbolism of the moth's need for struggle, how it was the struggle itself that gave it strength. I was inspired by that. I've now watched Lost four times, and this episode has lost its luster for me. Firstly, the symbolism is clunky and forced. I've learned more since then about what good writing really is.
