Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 67 comments (35 from Metacritic, 30 from Reddit, 2 from TMDB reviews) β 24 of them described how it moves.
β steady β Holds one level all the way. Warm most of the way through. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 that gave people chills.

βthe Indianapolis Center air traffic control scene in the beginning is one of the best scenes to ever build tension without ever showing the action. You can hear the pilots of the AirEast and TWA flights describing everything in great detail so you have a clear idea of what's going on, you see them on the radar with the symbol of the unknown craft approaching theirs, and you feel the same sense of curiosity and fear that the ATC staff has when they're gathered around watching it play out.β

βThe sequence in India where they ask the singing crowd where the sounds came from and with one roar they all point skyward. Just TYPING this gave me a chill.β

βThe chase scene after the blackout where the police car goes over the edge of the road, seeing the city lights come back on slowly as the aliens fly up into the sky is stunning. The film really knows when to be quiet as well. Just a great scene.β

βThe visuals here...are never less than stunning in their impact, yet always seem well within the realm of possibility. It is also to Spielberg's credit, however, that despite all of this visual opulence, his actors are never dwarfed.β

βSteven Spielberg proves decisively that a special effects-dependent film need not be cold, mechanistic, or simpleminded.β

βIt must weather some bummy mid-passage exposition, but the movie survives its flaws triumphantly, evolving into a uniquely transporting filmgoing spectacle.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
