how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 12 comments (11 from Metacritic, 1 from TMDB reviews) β 2 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence β the shape below rests on 2 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

βa "stagnant" three-hour runtime with a "pathetic" and sanctimonious energy that felt 100% like an educational obligation rather than a "raw" artistic journey. The narrative rhythm was nonexistent; it offered a "stagnant" and uncritical exploration of a historical figure that lacked the "chewy" intellectual depth or the "raw" human distrust found in my 5.0-star pillars. Seeing the "pathetic" pacing and the rhythmic repetition of non-violent marches left me in a state of absolute "silent frustration"β

βWhat is important about this film is not that it serves as a history lesson (although it does) but that, at a time when the threat of nuclear holocaust hangs ominously in the air, it reminds us that we are, after all, human, and thus capable of the most extraordinary and wonderful achievements, simply through the use of our imagination, our will, and our sense of right.β

βAttenborough's stately film is in every sense of the word an epic and Ben Kingsley is superb as Mahatma Ghandi, aging as he does 50 years during the three-hour film, and transforming from dapper young lawyer to loin-cloth wearing ascetic.β

βOnce in a long while a motion picture so eloquently expressive and technically exquisite comes along that one is tempted to hail it as being near perfect. Such a film is Gandhi.β

βAn epic biopic, over three hours in length, Gandhi captures the spirit of the man and his struggles.β

βWith the help of his cinematographers, Billy Williams and Ronnie Taylor, Attenborough has produced a very beautiful-looking movie that is maybe a little too seductive for its own good. But Attenborough shows once again his skill in managing the big set-piece.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

βFilm makers and actors deserve 9. I only put 7 because this film idolizes a dark personality like Gandhi (i dont think it would be easy for the producers to act differently), who surely had great sides and that s why his fame is so vivid. In any case it s educative and you can use it as a base before a real research.β

βOne of the best biography epics ever made, and it is about truly one of the greatest people to have ever walked the earth in all of human history in Mahatma Gandhi. A perfectly casted and executed movie that tries in passionate earnest to respect the source material and facts about Gandhi rising from a humble lawyer, to a leader that freed India from its colonial stranglehold.β
