how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 54 comments (49 from Metacritic, 5 from TMDB reviews) — 17 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 17 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“The first half of the movie is great”
Wuchak · TMDB reviews ↗
“the first twenty or so minutes were quite slow”
Nathan · TMDB reviews ↗
“once that action is established, it does not let up, with the next hour filled with nonstop thrills, leaving very little room to breathe. It was exhilarating with some fantastic tension, camera work, and special effects that had the hairs on the back of my neck standing straight up”

“A bit slow”

“once it gets to the horror it gets real QUICK and doesn't slow down until the end”

“do not get into the evilness until it comes & gets the 4 college students except for Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) & that was the best part”

“Unquestionalby it's an instant classic, probably the grisliest well-made movie ever. [26 May 1983]”
Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times · 100
“Then the carnage comes, and when it does, it delivers on all promises and more, with a parade of gushing wounds, demonic howls, and oceans of gore which approach the line of good taste, toe it, then gleefully dance across. [22 Sept 2010]”
Zack Handlen, The A.V. Club · 83
“While injecting considerable black humor, neophyte Detroit-based writer-director Sam Raimi maintains suspense and a nightmarish mood in between the showy outbursts of special effects gore and graphic violence which are staples of modern horror pictures.”
Staff [Not Credited], Variety · 80
“Unbound by cinematic convention, Raimi unleashed his free-range camera, and ghoulish, omnipresent sound effects to create a bleak, paranoid atmosphere and a raft of sudden, effective shocks.”
Staff [Not Credited], Empire · 80
“Shot on 16mm for less than $50,000, Sam Raimi's visceral debut remains a benchmark of modern horror. Plot and acting are minimal - five stooges inadvertently awaken demonic forces - but then this isn't about intellect or intricacy: it's about intensity and intestines. [1 Oct 2001]”
Jamie Graham, Total Film · 80

“The decision to leave Ash alone halfway through the film elevated it considerably, as it gave it a tension and a feeling of loneliness that few films achieve”

“Decent watch at best, probably won't watch again, and can't recommend unless you just love classic gore practical effects. I'm honestly confused why this was such a bit hit at the time. Maybe it was just part of the trends, maybe the 1980s was just when people wanted to see horrific gore, and there was a lack of options. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's bad. I don't feel like we get a proper explanation of what the hell is happening, so no expectations is really built to be subvert”
