how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 48 comments (44 from Metacritic, 4 from TMDB reviews) — 20 of them described how it moves.
➖ steady — Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout — never simply one thing. In the last stretch it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 2 that landed as a blow.

“Le seul grand défaut que je peux trouver au film est possiblement la longueur, car je pense qu'il aurait pu durée a minima un bon 1/4 heure de moins.”

“It's a movie of such jaw-dropping violence, wild improbability and dazzling style it overpowers all resistance.”
Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune · 100
“This hunt for revenge is really a quest for self-discovery. The story, acting and brilliant directing elevate Oldboy into a human struggle to know yourself and your place in the universe, and to live with that sometimes terrible knowledge.”
Jami Bernard, New York Daily News · 100
“Oldboy is a powerful film not because of what it depicts, but because of the depths of the human heart which it strips bare.”
Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times · 100
“Park's direction is flawless and Jung Jung-hoon's cinematography is stunning.”
V.A. Musetto, New York Post · 100
“It's a work of art for sure, but a sadistic one. Oldboy is one of the year's best; it just isn't for everyone. If you're still interested, go for it.”
Luke Y. Thompson, Dallas Observer · 100

“This is definitely one of the films to see before you die. It's seat-squirmingly unsettling, shocking and very violent. It's a journey into a truly disturbed mind; a mind, which - like yours will be - is unable to cope with what it discovers. This film is brilliantly twisted. It has a thread of the most wonderful, blackest humour running through it, a sense of complete disorientation and enough plot twists and turns to sustain your interest. Not one of the best revenge thrillers I've s”

“This is not just a film you watch, it’s a film you experience. Oldboy is without question, one of the greatest revenge stories ever put to film. It has, in my opinion, the greatest villain of all time, smart, terrifying, and totally unforgettable. The movie is twisted, disturbing, and yet absolutely magnificent in its execution. It’s one of those movies you have to watch at least once in your life. Even after it ends, it sticks with you and you keep thinking about it. And the soundtrack is”
