how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 265 comments (215 from Reddit, 45 from Metacritic, 5 from TMDB reviews) — 36 of them described how it moves.
📈 rising arc — Builds the whole way through. Pulled both ways throughout — never simply one thing. Around the middle it was tender and painful at the same time, which is the state people mean by being moved. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow, 1 that gave people chills, 3 that got a real laugh.

“The part where Billy “died” honestly had me pretty emotional ngl.”

“This honestly might be the worst ending I’ve seen from a superhero movie in a while.”
NaiadoftheSea · Reddit ↗
“Athena and their romance, his friendship with the Wizard, discovering he was a hero without the powers, etc. was all endearing and engaging and the film was at its best when it was with him.”
“Instead we kept cutting away to Levi’s cringy Shazam doing nothing while Freddy was the one actually having the adventure.”
“it gave me my biggest laugh of the entire movie”

“Honestly, I didn't believe it for a second until they actually buried him. I kept waiting for them to go "HAHA he's *still alive!"* in the stadium and they didn't. They actually *killed* him. That kind of impressed me.”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
“Inconsistencies and issues aside, Shazam 2 hits the comic book movie sweet spot. The performances are strong, the humor lands, and the stakes feel high with comic book panache and the kinds of visuals one only gets in a comic book (business-destroying minotaurs, anyone?).”
Jeff Ewing, Slashfilm · 85
“It’s an entertaining fantasy from a kid’s perspective that hearkens back to the days of reading a stack of comics on your bed for an afternoon that never seemed to end.”
John Kirk, Original-Cin · 83
““Fury” piles on the mythos, monsters and magic, a smidge too heavily at times, but stays grounded, thanks to its earnestly goofy main man.”
Brian Truitt, USA Today · 75
“Shazam! Fury of the Gods may not pull the heartstrings like its predecessor, but there’s no shortage of the chaotic good humor and energetic performances that put Billy Batson and the Shazamily on the map.”
Tom Jorgensen, IGN · 70
“Fury of the Gods makes for dandy spectacle, its digitally rendered catastrophe the match of any such competing big-screen visions of doom. But it somehow marries the pending apocalypse to a blithe spirit, and the cognitive dissonance never gets drastic enough to ruin the good time.”
Chris Vognar, Rolling Stone · 70
