how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 22 comments (18 from Metacritic, 4 from TMDB reviews) — 3 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 3 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“Some of the acting was sketchy at the beginning”

“It put me in the Christmas spirit immediately and captured my imagination and sense of wonder like no recent Christmas movie has.”

“I loved the movie before the intro was over! It gave me that sorely missed nostalgia fix when you went thru the old VHS recordings of the family’s Christmas pasts.”

“What kind of Grinch would I be to berate a new cheesy holiday movie about two siblings going on a Christmas-related adventure in which, I repeat, Kurt Russell plays a hot Santa? Make some cocoa for the family, and spike yours if you have to, but remember what the holiday is about: watching mediocre, predictable movies with the people you love.”
Dana Schwartz, Entertainment Weekly · 75
“Russell, he of the shaggy mane and those twinkly, crinkly eyes, digs into the classic role with a sleighful of energy, humor and gusto, deftly making the character his own with guidance from Matt Lieberman’s inventive, myth-bending script. His performance is a gas.”
Gary Goldstein, Los Angeles Times · 70
“It’s as predictable as an Advent calendar, but thanks to Kurt Russell’s grizzly charms, The Christmas Chronicles at least gives us one of the movies’ best Santas yet.”
Dan Jolin, Empire · 60
“The whole thing is out-and-out tinsel-dunked tat, but oddly honourable with it – the Christmas spirit might be just a few steps up from bathtub grade, but it still packs a kick.”
Robbie Collin, The Telegraph · 60
“Close inspection reveals that The Christmas Chronicles suffers from the same acute condition as one of Freddy’s or Jason’s lesser vehicles. The film doesn’t know how to get out of its own way and foreground what’s working, namely the dynamo of screen presence placed more prominently in the advertising than the feature itself.”

“Kurt Russell gets to clown around in a Santa suit, as he drags two irritating children around Chicago in search of a few misplaced magical accessories. It's basically a Hallmark Channel movie with the added lure of Snake Plissken guiding a hovering sleigh. I was hoping it might function as something more than that, maybe a winking satire of that same breed of neutered, smothering, saccharine family flicks. Nope, what you see is what you get. Russell is truly the life of the party, magnetic in m”

“Decent watch at best, probably won't watch again, and can't recommend. Perhaps it's just that I don't like Kurt Russell and him injecting all his "Russellness" into Santa Claus ruins the magic of the character for me, but I really feel this portrayal of Santa Claus is lacking and borderline inappropriate. While the over all story structure and script are fine, there are just odd choices throughout the movie, particularly for the degree of life threatening risk in the adversity. I also h”

“Fun film, perfectly suitable for the festive period. I do enjoy Kurt Russell, I like most of the films that I've seen him in and this is another one to add to the list. He's great in the lead role, very much carrying the film. The other actors could've been better cast, but are still passable in their respective roles. There are also cameos for Goldie Hawn and Steven Van Zandt. The special effects are pleasant, the reindeer look alright but it's the elves that look the best. Plot-wise it's”

“Pretty standard fare mostly. Dad died, son going off the rails, daughter still believes, let’s haul Santa in to help. (Which he does by letting them help him.) I found myself poking holes in the plot, which is a silly thing to do anyway in a Christmas fantasy film, such as If Santa can make presents magically appear in the jail, why can’t he get himself out of the jail without help? But the writers have the last laugh, when it turns out that this all seems to be a test for the kids. Or somethin”
