Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.

〰️ uneven — Peaks and dips, no clear shape. Pulled both ways throughout — never simply one thing. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 1 that landed as a blow, 1 that got a real laugh.

“With the way Mads Mikkelson got clipped on the train in the beginning, I was sure he already time traveled because there is no way he survived that without facial reconstruction at the very least.”

“The reveal that they wound up going back in time to 214 B.C. was definitely a nice surprise twist. I was actually pretty into that whole sequence”

“The moment when Mads (Voller) realizes Indy was right about how the plane was gonna show up in another time entirely, and Mads starts yelling to turn back...movie was firing on all cylinders at that point...so much uncertainty in the audience as to where the plane is headed...Harrison Ford is triumphant...Voller's totally panicking... Such an excellent moment in both Ford's and Mads' performances, and very compelling on a story level.”

“I was not expecting that reveal to hit like a truck. Not only by its existence, but by its unexpected weight. I feel like everyone was expecting some throwaway line to write him out of the movie, but nah, Indy’s son is fucking dead and he blames himself. Yeesh.”

“the ancient Greece stuff is really what will make or break this film for everyone. For me, I loved it. I loved that the explorer we've come to know and love actually got to see history for himself.”

“The two biggest questions I had going into Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny were: will it be fun and will the film stay true to the character of Indiana Jones. The answer, I'm pleased to say, is yes on both counts. It's a ton of fun. I had a blast.”

“This is a very fun movie . . . but Indy’s arc is poignant and also sad.”
Mike Ryan, Uproxx · 90
“Crystal Skull (which I liked) didn’t really feel like a proper goodbye, however. Dial of Destiny does, allowing Indy to nobly, creakily hang up his hat and whip, leaving the rest of us in an increasingly exhausted multiverse of capes and cowls.”
Josh Larsen, LarsenOnFilm · 88
“Mangold’s steady direction doesn’t quite live up to Spielberg’s signature flair, but this is a solid entry in the franchise, solid enough to even inspire interest in future installments.”
Liz Shannon Miller, Consequence · 83
“Much like the entries of the original trilogy, at its heart, Dial is a rip-roaring adventure that borrows more from the cinematic language of golden age swashbucklers than modern blockbusters.”
Maureen Lee Lenker, Entertainment Weekly · 83

“Indiana Jones and the Pile of **** Old Harrison Ford is unconvincing and boring as an action hero doing stunts. It's the years, not the mileage. Discount Eva Green is, by far, the most irritating character in the history of the franchise. What a savings. She's the real 'antagonist' here. It's painful to watch her interactions with Indiana, their 'chemistry' - if you can call it that. Horrible acting, accent, voice, writing, character, et al. And she gets a lot of screen time. Indy and the a”

“le di chance a la película de Indiana Jones y El Dial del Destino. Me he topado con muchas personas y la crítica que decían que la película es una decepción, que no logró cumplir con lo que muchos esperaban y que hasta fue lo peor de la saga. En sí, tras verlo hasta el final, les diré que la película no estuvo nada mal. O sea no es perfecto, pero para ser la última película de la saga (si, ya es la última, porque Harrison Ford ha confirmado que su era como Indiana Jones terminó) no estuvo nada m”

“When I first heard they were making another one of these, I groaned. When I saw the title, I buried my head in my hands. Indy’s last adventure, 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, didn’t leave me with much hope for the franchise, and that first impression - an abrasive, clunky moniker - stunk with precisely the same odor. Man, do I really want to put myself through this again? The first three Indiana Jones films are an indelible part of my cinematic childhood. What’s the point in dragging their”

“"Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" delivers exactly what fans of the iconic adventurer have been yearning for—a thrilling, action-packed adventure that pays homage to the franchise's rich history while introducing new and captivating elements. Harrison Ford reprises his role as Indiana Jones with the same charm and charisma that has made him a beloved cinematic icon for decades. Ford effortlessly slips back into the fedora and whip, proving that age has only added depth to the character.”

“EXT. INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF THE LOST DIALS SKULL – DAY Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is more closely related to its recent sequel than its distant cousins of the original trilogy. It attempts to take the franchise's formula and shake it up; it throws in cameos, call-backs and references but suffers the same issue every recent Lucasfilm movie has. It's another modern Disney reboot sequel with legacy characters left in the dirt, and a 'quirky & quippy' new character is pres”
