how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 14 comments (11 from Metacritic, 3 from TMDB reviews) — 6 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 6 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“Before I Wake is a beautiful, meditative ghost story with one of the more rewarding horror payoffs I’ve seen in years.”
Matt Donato, We Got This Covered · 80
“Before I Wake's images have a pleasing straightforwardness that parallels the openness of the young protagonist's longing for love.”
Chuck Bowen, Slant Magazine · 75
“Before I Wake has its imperfections and moments of narrative lag, but its thoughtful touches and attention to character load Cody’s abilities and the threat of the Canker Man with a dramatic weight that often outbalances the generically spooky imagery.”
Ignatiy Vishnevetsky, The A.V. Club · 75
“It’s a flawed film, but there are elements that really work, especially the lead performance and some of Flanagan’s gifts with composition. Before I Wake is also particularly interesting to watch now as one can see it as a career stepping stone to the movies he's made since.”
Brian Tallerico, RogerEbert.com · 63
“As it lurches into its second act, Before I Wake begins slavishly following the beats of its studio horror contemporaries, (mostly) abandoning its nuance for rote investigations into the cause of the phenomena and horror set pieces that defy the previously established logic of the dream manifestations.”
Randall Colburn, Consequence · 50

“**It all begins with the butterflies!** People think it is a horror, but it was a fantasy-horror. According to the director, it is a supernatural theme. You may ask what's the big deal, but if you watch the film you will get, particularly the conclusion twist. It was a decent film with a good cast. It marks the return of the wonder boy Jacob Tremblay, after a tremendous performance debut from the Oscar nominated film 'Room'. Once again, he was brilliant, but due to the different theme, it mig”

“Good premise, good design. Bad lead performance, bad... amount... of dropped plot points? That was less concise than it sounded in my head. What I'm trying to say is that for every positive _Before I Wake_ has on offer, there is an equal and opposite negative to bring it back down again. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._”
