how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 265 comments (212 from Reddit, 48 from Metacritic, 5 from TMDB reviews) β 45 of them described how it moves.
π rising arc β Builds the whole way through. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 2 that landed as a blow, 1 that got a real laugh.

βThat sequence at the end finishing on the stars on the wall. If you don't leave the theater with a lump in your throat there's something wrong with you.β

Published reviews, not felt experience β a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
It plays better than it reviews β the watch lands harder than the write-ups suggest.
βSure, Bay indulges some signature cinematic fetishes. But he shows restraint with the slowed-down, sexed-up shots. War is gritty here, not glamorous. Result: characters, stakes and emotions feel authentic β all the more so thanks to terrific actors including James Badge Dale and Pablo Schreiber as actual ex-military men and family men who battled terrorists.β

βThe movieβs main drawback is that its main characters are surprisingly ill-defined.... Itβs a frustrating flaw in an otherwise engrossing picture.β

βStill, if 13 Hours lacks the gravitas of βAmerican Sniper,β itβs powerful stuff. Bayβs goal is to put you right in these menβs boots, to feel the heat, the fear, the fatigue, the weight of the weapons and the web of camaraderie.β

βThis is no βZero Dark Thirtyβ or βThe Hurt Locker.β Lacking in nuance and occasionally plagued by corny dialogue, β13 Hoursβ is nonetheless a well-photographed, visceral action film, and a sincere and fitting tribute to those secret soldiers.β

βThe movie is imperfect and overlong but itβs never boring.β

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.
