Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 114 comments (91 from Reddit, 23 from Metacritic) β 41 of them described how it moves.
γ°οΈ uneven β Peaks and dips, no clear shape. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Marked above the line: 2 that landed as a blow, 2 that gave people chills.

βI love how this ending feels like a mature version of End of Evangelion.β

βThe credit songs for this film was just an emotional rollercoaster and Utada Hikaru knows how to hit you in the feels. One Last Kiss is a banger of a theme song, sad but uplifting and joyous. Beautiful World (Da Capo) is so bittersweet and somber in tone is just a beautiful way to close the film as Hidekai Anno/Shinji's final goodbye to the world of Eva through this song.β

βThe scenes with Genso and Shinji at the end were incredible and honestly made me tear up a little.β

It reviews better than it plays β admired more than it is enjoyed.
βEvangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time brings the long-delayed, highly anticipated tetralogy to a close with a bold, messy, uplifting, audacious, and emotional film that expands, complements, and comments upon what came before, while giving fans a fitting close not only to the movie series, but the entirety of βEvangelion.ββ

βRarely do anime franchises end on such a pitch perfect note, but Anno shows it is possible with Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time. After decades of grappling with what this series means to him and using it as a mechanism to process his own emotional baggage, Anno has finally found closure within his broken world full of angst and hope.β
Mary Beth McAndrews, Paste Magazine Β· 90
βThe cumulative result of all this inventive intercutting is a nostalgic reminder of everything that makes Evangelion not just psychologically complex, but balls-to-the-wall fun. It recognizes that Evangelion is both a cerebral meta-narrative and a mecha action anime.β
Eric Vilas-Boas, New York Magazine (Vulture) Β· 90
βOperatic, overblown, and yet still touching, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time may be a mouthful, but it's also full of heart.β
Richard Whittaker, Austin Chronicle Β· 89
βItβs bold, dazzling, introspective, and occasionally disturbing, which makes it a fitting capper to not only the new film series, but to the Evangelion story as a whole.β
