Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 5 comments (3 from Metacritic, 2 from TMDB reviews) β none of them described how it moves.
So the shape below is not a measured arc. It is this title's overall sentiment held flat across the runtime, with the widest uncertainty band we draw. People talked about this title; they did not talk about how it paces.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

βThis smashing science-fiction adaptation of H.G. Wells's famous novel has more creativity in every frame than most latter-day rip-offs have in their entirety.β

βThe meat of Wellsβ novel is sacrificed in favor of all-out spectacle, but in that respect the movie works marvelously.β

βThe Time Machine is an old-fashioned adventure that tries to remain as true to the original text as it could (the ending of the book isn't the same here, along with various other additions and changes) with an excellent score, great special effects, and a story that keeps you watching thanks to the excellent narration throughout the film.β

βWells purists may balk, and Palβs then state-of-the-art effects do look cheesy by todayβs Industrial Light & Magic standards, but The Time Machine retains an appealing Victorian charm. Taylor, the Mel Gibson of the β60s, is a pleasure to watch.β

βThe social comment of the original has been historically refined to encompass such plausible eventualities as the physical manifestation of atomic war weapons. But the basic spirit of Wells' work has not been lost.β

βA loose adaptation of the HG Wells classic that's glaringly fifties in all the wrong ways. Weak special effects, atrocious acting and a few heavy-handed additions to the plot are just the tip of the iceberg. There's also a serious lack of science in this sci-fi endeavor; particularly bad is the scene where our narrator stops off in the middle of the Cold War, observes a tactical nuclear strike (literally annihilating buildings across the street) and strides through a few wisps of smoke back to tβ

βI love this film, and so does my dad, much better than the style over substance remake. In fact, both of us feel it is a huge favourite of ours and looking at the film's charms it isn't hard to see why. The special are still very charming and stylish- not dated to me, and the story is a haunting and speculative one that sticks to the spirit of HG Wells's marvellous story well. The set design is wonderful, the script like the story is imaginative, the pace is brisk and the direction is great. Theβ

βinteresting movie with a nice plot. This movie was also a very good one in the 60s, but today it is outdated: The special effects are more ridiculous than amazing like in the past. Also there were too many dialogues, that lengthen the movie unnecessarily.β

βSome interesting and even ambitious aspects but this sci-fi thriller was pretty uneven while the visual effects were also a mixed bag from being fairly impressive for its time (20 years now) to pretty shoddy. On the plus side, Guy Pearce was good in the lead. This one also reminded me when Orlando Jones was in a good amount of movies (18 between 1998-2004). IDK, this is one that did keep me entertained. **3.0/5**β
