how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 52 comments (48 from Metacritic, 4 from TMDB reviews) — 9 of them described how it moves.
Thin evidence — the shape below rests on 9 comments. The shaded band is how wide the uncertainty actually is, and it is drawn to scale.
Not enough people said when to name this shape. The line is what the evidence draws, not a finding.

“A long sequence featuring Bananarama’s "Cruel Summer” tells all. Speaking of which, that’s a great school scene.”

“It builds up fairly slowly, meaning the opening 40 minutes are less interesting - to me, anyway.”

“What's fun is how the new Karate Kid embraces and vastly improves the cliches, keeping the plot cleverly updated for a generation that never heard of Ralph Macchio.”
Steve Persall, Tampa Bay Times · 91
“If you've seen “The Karate Kid” (1984), the memories will come back during this 2010 remake. That's a compliment.”
Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times · 88
“Jaden Smith is destined to be a star by the force of will (and wallets) of parents Will and Jada Smith, both producers on The Karate Kid. But he's also got the raw material.”
Amy Nicholson, Boxoffice Magazine · 80
“Given the dreck we’ve seen this summer, it’s nice to be reminded of the virtues of clean storytelling and cultural curiosity.”
Joshua Rothkopf, Time Out · 80
“Jaden may have to carry the burden of family celebrity, even as he carries his new film. Expertly.”
Richard Corliss, Time · 80

Grouped by where it was written, because a considered review and a reaction typed an hour after the credits are different things. Every quote links to its source.

“**A landmark of the 80's** I'm not exactly a fan of fighting or martial arts movies. It's usually a type of movie I avoid because I find it boring and tiring. However, I was surrendered to this film, which is surely one of the most famous of the 80s, a film that even today, thirty years later, feels good to review. Perhaps because of this, it is a film that still retains its place on the grid of cinema TV channels. The script is simple, but quite appealing and full of well-crafted characte”
