how much it moved you
Two separate readings, not parts of the score — the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.
Read from 111 comments (102 from Reddit, 7 from Metacritic, 2 from TMDB reviews) — 31 of them described how it moves.
〰️ uneven — Peaks and dips, no clear shape. Hard going most of the way through. Very little of it ever resolves. Marked above the line: 2 moments that made people jump.

“I wasn’t prepared for the lethal mixture of being sick to my stomach while also on the edge of my seat.”

“the ending is very abrupt and it honestly could have used another 30 minutes or so to really wrap up and give itself a emotional climax and conclusion”

“I agree that the ending felt abrupt, and also that that was likely intentional. To me it felt like it was nodding at the standard horror movie arc of delivering it's message and emotional beats over the first two acts before blowing it all up with a third act that often doesn't stick the landing. Instead Leviticus just ends and leaves you feeling hollow even while it delivers a final hopeful emotional beat.”

“creating that sense of paranoia and sense of unease at being unable to believe what is front of you”

Published reviews, not felt experience — a different question from the one above, and never mixed into the FlickFeel score.
“This outstanding debut from writer-director Adrian Chiarella organically marries blood-curdling fright with incisive social commentary.”
Carlos Aguilar, Variety · 100
“Leviticus announces Adrian Chiarella as a filmmaker of remarkable confidence and control. It's a horror film that trusts its audience, trusts its characters, and trusts the power of what remains unseen. In doing so, it becomes one of the year's most unsettling — and impressive — genre debuts.”
Thom Ernst, Original-Cin · 100
“There have been plenty of horror movies about conversion therapy, but none like this one. Though it is at times terrifying, capturing the isolation of the queer experience with bone-deep emotion, the first-time director's new film is a surprisingly tender look at the shapes love and demons can take.”
Graeme Guttmann, Screen Rant · 100
“At its heart, the film is a love story. A love story about two souls who need to trust each other if they want to survive.”
Gregory Ellwood, The Playlist · 91
“Chiarella has a skill for creating scares beyond the obvious, but Leviticus (which takes its name from the biblical verse often used against homosexuality) gains a massive jolt from a near-perfect melding of theme and concept.”
Devan Suber, The Film Stage · 91
