Two separate readings, not parts of the score β the score says how much of it held you, these say what kind of watch it was.
Nobody has rated this on FlickFeel yet. This is public discussion of this title, read into a curve. It is not a rating and it never becomes one.

β steady β Holds one level all the way. Pulled both ways throughout β never simply one thing. Marked above the line: 1 that gave people chills, 1 that got a real laugh.

βThat scene where Po and his biological father hug after his dad tells that heartbreaking story of how he lost his wife and son was so sweet and emotionalβ
βthe funniest moment in that film is when Po is yelling at Shen (who can't hear him) from a ship, and Shen yells back, "What?" then more quietly, a slightly more perplexed, "what?"β

βA singular look, an exemplary vocal cast, and a narrative arc like a caress. That'll be the Kung Fu Panda franchise's legacy, the idea that shouldn't have worked but did, beautifully and with its own chi.β

βIt's easy to mistake the simplicity of plot and theme here for simple-mindedness - this isn't Pynchon or Proust. Kung Fu Panda 3 has the economy of a Zen koan, not to mention its inner harmony and wisdom.β

βI think the secret to the appeal of the entire βKung Fu Pandaβ franchise is the enormous affection we feel for Po, that seemingly bumbling good guy who also can rise to the occasion and showcase true heroism and mystical power.β

βMartial-arts action, excitingly mounted, is all part of the package as Po battles a glowering, green-eyed bull (J.K. Simmons) and tries to whip peaceable pandakind into a fighting force to defeat the villain. One-liners fly as fast as kung-fu fisticuffs in this sweet and satisfying picture.β

βEmotionally, dramatically and perhaps most of all visually (itβs worth seeing in 3D), this delightful trilogy capper is almost as generously proportioned as its cuddly warrior hero, restoring a winning lightness of touch to the saga while bringing its long-running themes of perseverance and self-knowledge to satisfying fruition.β

βKung Fu Panda 3 is still a fantastic film and entry in its franchise, but there are a few minor issues that lower it a bit from the previous two films. While Kung fu Panda 2 went a different direction than the first one by having Po wonder about his past and face his own internal conflicts, this movie goes in the same direction as the first with its "Chosen One" trope, but doesn't do anything to poke fun at it like it used to. Instead of proving he's still the Dragon Warrior by beating the villβ

βI'm a major Kung Fu Panda fan and personally believe it's the best Dreamworks franchise. The 1st film was surprisingly good and the 2nd was even better with a more emotional story and lush animation. This 3rd film is good, although not as good as the first two. The best aspect of Panda 3 is the animation. It's beautifully animated with great detail, fluid motion, colorful backgrounds, and has very well choreographed fight scenes. The 2D animated backstory was a nice touch as well. The story is aβ

βKung Fu Panda 3 is best described as a delightfully goofy and good-hearted but rather unbalanced jumble of ideas. However, considering how excellent the first two installments were (especially the first one), it's a shame to have to call it that. The central problem with KFP3 is that it has no sense of discipline, which is ironic given the fact that the art of kung fu requires that. This movie has way too many juvenile jokes, silly side-characters and random scenes that don't fit into the film, β

βYou know that feeling of going back to your parents' house after a long time and finding everything in the exact same place? Thatβs pretty much what Kung Fu Panda 3 delivers. We laugh, get a little emotional, eat some dumplings, and leave with a warm heart. But is DreamWorks' magic formula starting to show signs of fatigue, or does the Dragon Warrior still have what it takes to surprise us? Letβs talk about what worked and what fell short in this trilogy closer. Nelson and Carloniβs directionβ

βKung Fu Panda 3 is about what you would expect. A roller coaster ride of gags, goof ups and outrageous martial art outbursts. Po is himself, clumsy, naΓ―ve, martial arts master and funny. As usual he is accompanied by his friends from the previous movies including the somewhat reluctant Shifu. The wise turtle Oogway from the first Kung Fu Panda is back as well, kind of. Naturally there is a big bad villain, General Kai, who it turns out have some past relations to Oogway. General Kai is preβ
